Old Testament — Book by Book
Genesis through Malachi. Creation, fall, flood, the call of Abraham, the exodus, the conquest, the monarchy, exile — and the prophets who kept the flame alive.
Full book-by-book studies of the Old Testament are still in production. Each will combine the biblical text, its historical and archaeological context, and connections to the New Testament and the early church. Until they are ready, this page is a reading guide: the studies already published that work through Old Testament passages, grouped by where they sit in the canon.
Genesis
Genesis 10's Table of Nations is the most heavily covered text on the site. The Sons of Noah series follows the line of Shem, Ham and Japheth through archaeology and history, with a study on each son and the peoples descended from him.
